They Call Them Rogues

I am like a sinking boat. I keep bailing out the words but more keep pouring in; faster than I can get them out. I am going to drown in my thoughts. That would be a poetic way to go.

  1. I like this, short and sweet so grabbed my attention straight away, and I found it easy to read,

also I find it conjured up some good images, like being on a boat and bailing out all these printed words with a bucket,

then drowning in thoughts which I saw as loads of words flying out of books leaping of the pages to smother and drown me or even right out of peoples heads not just my own head woah,

which yes would be a poetic way to go, or a pretty loony toon way to go, bit like roger rabbit

anyway one thing you might find interesting is that for me the poem wasn’t down or negative, but quirky funny, and upbeat, I think that might be to do with the humour in the

"that would be a poetic way to go"
    line

and it got me wondering do words all weigh the same?

  2. I'm not sure if they do, but I'm glad you liked this. it just kinda spilled out of my brain one night when I couldn't stop writing. I like the idea that the words come from books, too. I originally meant that they were spouting out of my head.
